How do I make a claim on the security deposit?

Last updated on 10 Sept, 2021

In the unfortunate instance of a dispute arising with a recent booking of yours, please always attempt to contact your Renter first in good faith and with every intention of satisfactorily resolving the dispute between yourselves. This is often a much quicker way to a resolution.

If the dispute cannot be resolved, either the Lender or Renter must contact Us within 48 hours of the dispute arising and provide details including when it first arose, evidence of the attempts to resolve the dispute and a description of the issue such as a damaged dress, late return or any other issue that you may feel you require a claim on the Security Deposit to be made.

With regards to a damaged dress case, please be sure to include photos of any damage, original receipts of purchase, receipts for replacement, and/or an estimate for repair on letterhead by the appropriate repair company.

We endeavour to resolve any dispute fairly, though by involving Designerex in your claim or dispute, you agree that any decision by Us is final.
